Children's Grief Training

WinterSpring Center is sponsoring a Children’s Grief Training on Saturday, February 9, 9:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.

This workshop examines grief from a child’s perspective from 0-12 years. Following a theoretical presentation of grief and loss in a child’s world we will explore experiential methods of creativity and play to empower a child in their grieving process. Participants will be able to identify skills to enhance a child’s feeling of security in this play environment.

This is a fun workshop, presented by Christine Hunter-Roberson, MA CHt., and Sue Carroll BA, that invites participants to raise personal awareness and work with their own inner child to aid in their understanding of the grieving child.
